SCARS OF CAMBODIA | Un passé sous silence

Afin de continuer ce travail avec Tut (tournage, shooting, post-production, animation) sur les prochains mois, nous organissons à partir du 1er Septembre et pendant 60 jours, une collecte de dons sur KissKissBankBank.

Nous souhaitons vous faire partager cette rencontre humaine à travers un investissement direct dans le projet. Nous partons commencer le tournage/shooting au Cambodge dès le 13 Septembre 2012 et nous vous tiendront au courant ici, sur le blog, de nos avancées.

Tirages photographiques d’exposition et frais de laboratoire

Frais de post-production vidéo, animation

Composistion/enregistrement/mixage de la musique originale par Zach Miskin

Ce projet va évoluer en web documentaire à partir de Janvier 2013, afin de vous proposer cette rencontre de manière interactive.

Nous attendons le résultat de bourses et financements publics et privés, et monter les dossiers a également un coût.

Pour l’instant, le projet a fait partie des finalistes de Brouillons d’un rêve d’images de la SCAM. Il a également été Coup de Cœur de la Bourse du Talent Reportage. Ce projet est également soutenu par Ludovica Pellegatta, chef de projet chez Magnum et par l’association Hans Lucas.

Nous avons montré les prémices de ce projet à des associations artistiques au Cambodge, et une réelle émulsion s’est créée entre nous. Le projet a enthousiasmé la Commission du Film du Cambodge, le Bophana Center (centre audiovisuel dirigé par Rithy Panh, réalisateur entre autres de S21 et Duch, le maître des forges de l‘enfer) ainsi que le Phare Ponleu Selpak (association artistique et ONG) et sa galerie Romeet, qui nous ont proposé d’accueillir exposition et projection en Décembre dans le cadre du Cambodian International Film Festival.

Nous espérons bien évidemment diffuser le projet en France dès notre retour en Janvier 2013 dans des galeries et festivals.

We request today your financial support to continue this work with Tut (shooting, postproduction, animation, music recording and mix) over 4 to 5 months. We wish to share with you this human meeting through a direct investment in the project. We leave to continue the shooting in Cambodia from September 14th.

Use of the funding:

Photographic prints and laboratory spending

Video postproduction expenses, animation and sound editing

Interpreter / guide during the shooting / shooting

Contribution to the costs of transport / accommodation

Composition / recording / mix of the original music by Zach Miskin

If the budget is exceeded:

This project is going to evolve in documentary Web from January, 2013, to propose you this meeting in a interactive way.

We are waiting for the results of scholarships and public/private fundings.

For the moment, the project was one of the finalists of Brouillons d’un rêve d’images de la SCAM. It was also Coup de Cœur de la Bourse du Talent Reportage. This project is supported by Ludovica Pellegatta, project manager at Magnum Agency, and by the creation studio Hans Lucas.

We showed the first images of this project to artistic associations in Cambodia, and it provoked a real excitation between us. The project enthused the Movie Committee of Cambodia, the Bophana Center (audiovisual center managed by Rithy Panh, director of S21 and Duch, master of the forges of Hell) as well as the Phare Ponleu Selpak (artistic association and NGO) and its Art Gallery Romeet, who offered us an exhibition and projection in December, during the Cambodian International Film Festival.

We naturally hope to show the project in France in galleries and festivals, as soon as we come back in January, 2013.
